Tim Johnson

Sr. Partner, Co-Founder

Tim Johnson is a business transformation and operational excellence leader with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations improve performance accelerate growth and achieve sustainable results. Throughout his career he has led transformation initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance & reliability, and enterprise performance delivering measurable operational and financial improvements for organizations around the world.

Raised in Houston Texas, Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Tim has held leadership positions with Johnson & Johnson, Black & Decker, George Group, Celerant Consulting, Myrtle Consulting Group, and Accenture Industry X. He has led transformation programs across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, chemicals, medical devices, automotive, industrial manufacturing, and energy. His work has helped organizations improve productivity, strengthen asset reliability, optimize working capital, and deliver significant financial results.

As a co-founder of Rubicon Management Consultants, Tim is helping build a firm grounded in practical experience, operational credibility, and a relentless focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. He partners closely with clients to develop the capabilities, systems, and culture required to sustain long-term performance improvements.

Tim has been married to his wife, Leah, for more than twenty years, and together they have two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, supporting University of Texas athletics, mentoring future leaders, and giving back to the communities that have shaped his personal and professional journey.
